Second Announcement
The 2006 Annual CORM Technical Conference is structured to provide interaction between the optical radiation industry and National Metrology Institutes (NMI's) such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Research Council (NRC) of Canada, and National Center for Metrology (CENAM) of Mexico. The conference theme is radiation measurement problems and issues pertaining to:
- Imaging photometry and Colorimetry
- Spectral and photometric flux and intensity of LEDs, lamps and luminaires
- Ultraviolet lamps
- Detector responsivity
- Electronic displays
There will be a discussion period in each session, involving industry, NMI, and audience participation will be allotted to stimulate technological solutions and innovation. This is your opportunity to contribute as well as work with professionals in many different areas of metrology and optical measurements.

Registration
Advance registration is required due to the NIST security requirements. No walk-in registration will be available. Use the ON-LINE REGISTRATION FORM
Deadline: April 30th (US citizen), April 24th (non-US citizen)
Subcommittee committee meetings and USMS workshop are no charge, but the participants are still required to register using the on-line registration form.

There are numerous shuttles to/from the local hotels to NIST. The Hilton will provide shuttles as well. If you are staying at a different hotel, please check with hotel staff to see if there are available shuttles for transport to/from the conference.
Entering NIST: All CORM 2006 participants must enter NIST from the main gate on Clopper Road. Receive your CORM registration badge at the visitor center (trailer house) beside the gate. A photo-ID (drivers license, or a passport for non-US citizen) is required. Any visitors without advance registration are not allowed to enter NIST.
